Start from the country you work in

The two labour laws differ on which pay counts, how many days each year earns and what resigning changes. These links open each calculator set to that country.

Labor Law (Royal Decree M/51), as amended in 2025 · VAT 15%

  • End of service uses your actual wage: basic pay plus fixed allowances such as housing and transport.
  • Resigning cuts the award to nothing under 2 years of service, a third from 2 to 5 years and two thirds from 5 to 10 years (Article 85).
  • Prices to consumers include 15% VAT. To find the price before VAT, divide by 1.15.

Our method

How we check the numbers

A calculator is only useful if you can see why it gives the answer it does. These are the rules every page on the site follows.

Read the editorial policy
  1. The rule is cited

Labour calculations name the article of the law they apply. Finance calculations print the standard formula under every result.

  2. The working is shown

Open “How this was calculated” under any result to see each step with your own numbers.

  3. Examples are tested

Every worked example in a guide is recalculated by the calculator on that page, and a test fails if a printed figure stops matching.

  4. Your numbers stay with you

The calculators run in your browser. Nothing you enter in a calculator is sent to us.
